Damjan Kocjančič was born in 1970 in Ljubljana. He graduated on Famous Photographers School in Munich (Germany). Received mastership at the IVAS Academy für Bildende Kunste, Cologne (Germany).

Biography

1997: Graduated from Famous Photographer’s School in Munich.
1997: European Professional Photographers Award 1st prize, “Goodbye Twentieth Century” exhibition.
1999: Scholarship from Kultur-Kontakt, Vienna, Austria.
2002: Mastership in photography at Ivas Academy für Bildende Kunste, Cologne, Germany.
2004: Stipendium by ministry of culture of RS for top achievements in culture.
2007: Brumen foundation acknowledgment of excellence
2007: Stipendium by association of the slovene fine artists societies
