Photon Gallery invites all photographers and artists using the medium of photography to a special event where you will have the opportunity to showcase your work and gain expert opinions from some of the leading national and international experts in the field of photography. The Portfolio Review event is aimed at both beginners and experienced photographers and offers participants unique individual reviews and comments on their work.

Event details
The portfolio reviews will take place on 9 October 2024 from 10 am to 6 pm at the Photon Gallery in Ljubljana. The event is organised as part of the Photonic School and the international competition platform Different Worlds, whose exhibition of the finalists of the 12th edition of this competition will open in the evening. One or more experts will be available to photographers, with each session lasting about 20 minutes. The price for a meeting with an expert is €20 and the price for the whole ‘day package’ is €100.

– Peter Koštrun, professor of photography at ALUO in Ljubljana.
– Ivana Tomanović, Professor of Photography at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.
– Rene Maurin, Associate Professor of Media Production at Academia, Maribor.
– Sara Nuša Golob Grabner, independent curator of contemporary art and photography.
Important
The event is currently scheduled for one day (October 9), but may be extended to two days
if there are a large number of registrations. If a particular expert is too busy, we will offer
you an alternative in the form of another expert from the same field.
How to register
To register for the event, please send an email to info@photon.si with your name, address
and a description of the project with attached files or links to relevant content. If you will
not be attending the full-day package with seven experts, please submit a list of selected
reviewers. The deadline for applications is September 22, 2024.
