Skyscrapers were a proud symbol of dynamic economic development in the heyday of capitalism, but for the generation growing up today, they also represent a takeover by inhumane multinational corporations. I examine the aesthetics of the newly built skyscrapers, their rigidity and document the office buildings that drastically change the urban and social space through their dominant monumentality, while the individual remains invisible in the images.
