In the year 2023, for the first time, Photon Gallery participated in the fair MIA in Milan for its 12th edition.

We exhibited works by 4 artists representing Photon’s program focus on modern and contemporary photography from Central and Eastern Europe, as renowned representatives of four different generations. They embody the spirit of photography from this region, with all four selected artists using a highly conceptual approach to the medium of photography and its immense expressive possibilities, either in a surealistic or abstract manner. We showed works by Ladislav Postupa (1929, Czech Republic), Roberto Kusterle (1948, Slovenia / Italy), Anikó Robitz (1978, Hungary) and Zuzana Pustaiva (1990, Slovakia).
