Anna Fabricius
Anna Fabricius (1980, Budapest, Hungary) is a photographer and video artist who completed her PhD studies at The Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Buapest (2011). She exhibited her work across Europe in collaboration with various renowned curators such as Jovana Stokič, Roman Babjak and Walter Seidl, as well as well-known festivals and fairs such as PhotoEspana, ParisPhoto, Art Paris and Lodz Photo Festival. Her work was shown in the Museum for Contemporary Art Rijeka and in Kunsthalle Budapest. It was featured in various publications such as The Good Life, BeauxArt Magazine, Fotografisk Tidskrift 6, ParisBerlin, IMAGO and VISION. She lives and works in Budapest. In her artistic practice, she predominantly explores the concept of a “group” or a “community”, their construction, how they form and the role of an individual within it.
