Extended deadline for the Different Worlds 2023 competition

The deadline for entries to the 11th International open call for young photographers from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) has been extended until midnight, 9 July 2023.

The competition for young and emerging artists in the field of contemporary art photography, organised by Photon Gallery, is now in its 11th year. In the more than ten years of its existence, it has grown from a national programme to an international competition, with no less than 18 countries participating CEE. From year to year it has gained attention, as evidenced by the high number of entries. The competition is open to authors up to the age of 35 (including the year of birth 1988), who come from the region CEE (Albania, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Northern Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia) and Austria, and who are internationally active but originate from these countries.
