You are cordially invited to visit the new Photon Gallery space for photography in Maribor on Saturday, December 13, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. At our first brunch event, we will present the catalog of the retrospective exhibition of Stane Jagodič, a pioneer of Slovenian avant-garde photography, accompanied by mulled wine and selected pastries. The artist will be present and available to sign copies of his monograph, which will be available at a special discounted price of €24.00 only on this occasion!
P is a new space for contemporary photography in Maribor. It functions as a satellite space for the Photon Gallery for photographic editions, books, zines, and magazines. P is a gallery selection room where visitors can get a close look at current photography projects and choose from a variety of original works by domestic and foreign artists. It connects Maribor with the international photography scene and provides direct access to photography. The program offers presentations, screenings, professional meetings, and curated selections of photographic works, complementing the exhibition activities of the Photon Gallery.
A large retrospective exhibition by Stane Jagodič, co-produced by the Photon Gallery, will be on display until February 8 at the City Gallery Ljubljana, with an accompanying exhibition at the Photon Gallery in Ljubljana.
