From 9 to 13 November at the Grand Palais Ephemere

Paris Photo is the most important photography fair in the world, and this is the fourth time that Photon Gallery has taken part in it. We presented ourselves in the main sector, with six photographic artists showing the diversity of Central European photography spanning several decades.

It is a great honour for us to be able to represent the two internationally renowned representatives of the Czech photographic avant-garde from the first half of the century – Jaroslav Rössler and Jaromir Funke, who undoubtedly attracted the most attention at our stand; Roberto Kusterle, Stane Jagodič, Vladimir Birgus and Branko Lenart, whose works mark Central European post-war auteur photography, also attracted a great deal of attention from the international audience.

Alongside the successful appearance at the fair, we are also particularly pleased that Zuzana Pustaiova’s debut photobook, One Day Every Day (2022), which we co-published at Photon Gallery with our colleagues from the Vienna-based publishing house Reflektor, has been shortlisted for this year’s Paris Photo-Aperture PhotoBook Award!
