PHOTONIC MOMENT 2005
1. of contemporary photography from Southeastern Europe – an overview of contemporary photographic creation of this part of the continent. The main part of the event was a retrospective exhibition in which participated 40 authors from 8 different countries. The works were selected by an international jury composed of: Helena Srakočić – Kovac (Focus Agency, London / River), William Messer (freelance curator, USA) and Kristin Schneider (freelance curator, Prague, Leipzig). A special exhibition was intended to present young Italian photography. At the event has been issued a catalog with reproductions and brief presentations of the participants, text (members of the jury) and program events in Slovenian and English languages. Program Photonic MOMENT has been realized in different locations in Ljubljana: the building of suspected Slovenska St. 14-16 and at the new location Photon gallery – at Poljanska 1.
