Exhibition of photographic publications, which in previous years took place in a narrow context, the year Anzenberger Gallery and Gallery OstLicht organization get better at international level. Anzenberger Gallery and Gallery OstLicht organize the new photo book festival, which will take place on the surface of 600 square meters in- and outdoor spaces on the site of AnkerBrot Fabrik, which has become one of the centers of developments in the field of contemporary visual arts in Vienna in the last two years. In two (three) days of diverse events publishers and producers will talk about the possibilities of cooperation and Festival guests will be able to participate in presentations, lectures, workshops, etc.
For the presentation Photon has chosen photo books of those relevant Slovenian authors, who are linking Austrian and Slovenian cultural space:
– Marko Lipuš is primarily known for its excellent literary portraits of the German speaking authors.
– Roberto Kusterle is a Slovenian-Italian art photographer who regularly exhibits in prestigious galleries in Europe.
– Branko Lenart is a doyen of art photography in Austria, the most important facilitator of Slovenia and Austria in the field of photography.
– Eva Petric is a freelance artist living and working between Vienna, New York and Ljubljana.
