V sklopu prve edicije novega sejma za fotografijo Art Photo Budapest bo Photon predstavil dela dveh slovenskih in dveh tujih avtorjev: Boruta Peterlina in DK, kolektiva G.R.A.M. ter Laurenta Zieglerja.

ART PHOTO BUDAPEST, Europe’s newest and Eastern Europe’s only international fair for art photography. ART PHOTO BUDAPEST is established as part of ART MARKET BUDAPEST and will be inaugurated on October 8 at the Millenaris Cultural Centre. It’s presenting a new platform to meet, bringing together galleries, institutions, artists and curators, collectors and experts from East and West Europe.

Presence of East European Photography in the Global Photo Scene. Strong traditions, relevant influences, building of institutions. The present situation; common esthetics, individual positions, ways of promotion.

Experts from the region discuss supposed marginal role of contemporary photography from the East Europe. Participating: Dejan Sluga (Photon, Ljubljana, Vienna) as moderator, Zsolt Petrany (director, Mai mano House of Photography Budapest), Vaclav Macek (director, House of Photography Bratislava) and Milan Aleksić (head of the Department for Photography, Nova Akademija Belgrade).
