The solo exhibition of Viennese artist Markus Guschelbauer displays works that deal with complex relationship between nature and culture. Guschelbauer applies and includes industrial materials to his installations such as plastics and fabrics in order to create “ephemeral architectures” that resemble either sacral spaces or biotechnological laboratories and to question the concept of landscape. He uses distinctly multimedia approach as he touches the questions of sculpture, architecture and photography.
