Špela Škulj: Movements

You are kindly invited to the launch of the photobook Movements by Špela Škulj and conversation with the artist who is the winner of the second Photon’s Photobook competition.
The photobook, entitled Movements displays three series of photographs: Twelve positions of the hands on a cup when you feel tired and annoyed; Twelve movements of the feet on a wall when you feel bored and alone; and Twelve placements of the fingers on a lock of hair when you feel small. In a very humorous way, through endless repetition of movements, Škulj explores intimate feelings that are in the opposition with the mantra of constant joy and happiness, effectiveness productivity and creativity, which is nowadays omnipresent.
The book was self-published, in co-production with Photon and with the support of JSKD.
