Lin Gerkman (1995) graduated in industrial design from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana where he is about to finish a master’s course. Besides industrial design, he is involved in photography and video. In his works, Gerkman gives meaning to found objects by combining them into a brand-new whole. He held solo exhibitions in the Stolp Photogallery (North of South, Maribor, 2019) and the Photogether gallery (Myth and Ritual, Zlin, Czech Republic, 2020).

“These photographs are from a work-in-progress which deals with the relation between the environment and an intimate experience of home. By exploring places and objects that have sentimental value to me, I try to grasp the notions of absence, loss, and imperfection. I go back in time searching traces.”

The photograph is printed on archival semi-gloss 290g paper. The entire edition is printed with a white border in the dimension 40 x 50 cm (including the white border). With each print, you will receive a certificate of authenticity. Each print (photograph) comes in an edition of 50.
