“The series of photographs Today is Friday documents the so-called ‘bicycle’ or ‘Friday’ protests, which I’ve been covering since they started; I took first pictures in May 2020. In contrast to regular documenting, I’m focused on somewhat unspecific motifs. These mainly include the details that might otherwise be missed, and the individual in the crowd – be it a protester, a police officer or a casual passer-by. It is a series-in-progress since the protests still take place every Friday.”
