After the screening a conversation with Marko Štepec, researcher and curator at the National Museum of Contemporary History, who is also the screenwriter of the film, will take place. Štepec will speak about the first world war, memory and archival materials.

The film Slovenians at War 1914-1918 presents experience of war which, based on wide selection of photographs and testimonies, harnessed all available material and human resources into its bloody whirlpool. The 28-minute film was directed by Božo Grlj, written by Marko Štepec and edited by Tomo Burazin and was awarded at 21st festival of short film Military and People in Rome in 2010 and year later also at the international festival or historical and military film in Warsaw.
