Opening: Thursday, June 11, 2025, at 7 p.m. at Collegium Hungaricum Belgrade.
A group exhibition featuring the finalists of the 13th edition of the international photography competition Different Worlds 2025 is traveling to Belgrade. Following its premiere in Ljubljana, the project continues its international tour showcasing contemporary photographic work by the younger generation. Organized by the Photon Gallery, the competition annually showcases artists from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) under the age of 35, thereby tracking the latest trends in contemporary photography. The annual selection of finalists offers insight into diverse artistic practices that transcend classical photographic approaches.
This year’s selection brings together works that range from intimate to social themes, from documentary to experimental approaches, and across expanded media. In their works, the artists explore questions of identity, the environment, technology, and contemporary social relations, thereby opening up space for diverse visual interpretations of the present.

1st Prize: Luka Pešun (HR)
2nd Prize: Róbert Nunkovics (HU)
