DIVA Station, a material and on-line archive of video and new-media art developed by Centre for Contemporary Arts, SCCA-Ljubljana in cooperation with Photon Gallery present displays of the artists who are part of the archive. On the first Video Evening a video maker Maja Hodošček will present her recent body of work. She will talk about the process (and behind the scenes) of her art making, on particular works, on their incorporation into the spatial installations, on her relationship with the documentary genres, on educational work, and so forth.

The screening and discursive introduction will be moderated by DIVA Station collaborator Vesna Bukovec, who in the past couple of years, together with Metka Zupanič (Kolektiva), organises the series of one-off events called Video Evening.

Maja Hodošček (1984) graduated at the Fine Art department of Faculty of Education, University of Maribor and received MA at Dutch Art Institute in Arnhem, the Netherlands. She works across the fields of video and installation while exploring the social relations through the policy of cooperation and exchange. Her works were displayed on number of solo and group exhibitions in institutions such as Miroslav Kraljević Gallery, Zagreb; ŠKUC Gallery, Ljubljana; Modern Gallery, Ljubljana, Festival of Central and Eastern European Fim, Wiesbaden; Muzej istorije Jugoslavije, Beograd. In 2010 she was the receiver of OHO Award. She lives and works in Celje, Slovenia.
